Lynn Keenan, teacher of 9th -12th Grade and Sgt. Foote's ROTC class students at Lake Region High School, and Lynn's husband Rob delivered over 600 pounds of clothing, toys, toiletries, and medical supplies to our storage vault today. Much of the clothing was new and otherwise in excellent condition and came in neatly folded and bagged. Her Winter Haven, Florida students began rounding up donations just days after the earthquake

and in addition to much needed goods they also raised $300 in cash to help desperate Haitians struggling after the earthquake. This an outstanding example of compassion and love for our Haitain brothers and sisters in need and speaks volumes for the American spirit that offers help to all in need anywhere in the world. These youth are to be commended.

All goods supplied will be delivered to Haiti through the Foreign Mission Outreach Team of the First United Methodist Church of Auburndale, Florida led by Michael Wnek
